Boys A team
Eighth grader, Christian Hunter was the 2016-2017 MBMS Basketball Boy’s A-Team MVP. Coach Jason Romero awarded Christian this title for bringing great effort and energy off of the team’s bench.
Christian was a guard for the team, but unlike most guards, his best contribution was his defensive energy. “Christian was the heart of the team. I could always count on Christian to play solid defense every game,” stated Coach Romero.

Girls A team
Miss Luke, the girl’s A team head coach, named Grace Householter the team’s MVP. Grace was a forward, and was a leader on her team. Coach Luke said, “She had a great team spirit and helped lead the team in our scrimmage against American Martyrs”.
According to Miss Luke, one of Grace’s best contributions was her aggressive rebounding. Grace helped her team get many second shot opportunities on offense, and prevented the opponents from doing so on defense. Grace Householter was a very valuable contributor to the MBMS girls basketball A team.
